The SSSP, a federally funded TRIO program, was first implemented in 1992-93. We annually serve 200 or more first-generation, low-income and disabled students who have academic need.  Our holistic support services are free and include (but are not limited to) tutoring; peer mentoring, academic and personal counseling, pre-advising, priority registration, leadership development, instruction in academic and life management skills, advocacy, cultural events, learning communities comprised of credit courses and course based learning assistance, and a registered student organization.
