The Executive Branch

 

The Executive branch is lead by President Tania Sue Maestas. It is made up by President Tania Maestas, Vice-President of Internal Affairs- Alejandra Baca, Vice-President
of External Affairs- Pedro Diaz. This branch is devoted to administering the daily operations of the organization and formally overseeing the Legislative Branch.

 

The Legislative Branch

The Legislative Branch consists of twenty senators: twelve at-large senators representing the student body and eight collegiate senators. The Senate passes bills and allocates funds to students and/or student organizations for University related projects, events, or travels. Legislative tasks are divided among a large number of committees, which represent the issues affecting student body.

 

The Judicial Branch

JudicialThe Judicial Branch is the portion of the Student Government that decides cases arising from the student community. This branch is composed of the Supreme Court,Traffic Court, Public Defenders, and the Chief Prosecutor/ Attorney General.
