There are a wide variety of ways to get involved in Student Government at the University of Texas at El Paso. Between the three branches, Student Government provides opportunities for students to gain experience and make a difference on campus according to individual interests and skills.
Our weekly meetings are held on Thursdays at 6pm in Union East Room 304. Come out to hear the latest happenings at your University. Meetings are open and all members of the University of Texas at El Paso community are encouraged to attend. If you’d like to speak to the Senate, simply contact the Executive Board to set up a time in when you can come in.
As a freshman you can join our Excel Program, Apply to be a Legislative Assistant (LA), or other ways to get involved include joining an AD-HOC committee or contacting a member of the Executive Board to find out what initiatives you can be involved in.
