The International Food Fair is a one-day event consisting of student-run booths, entertainment, information tables and live music. The fair highlights the campus’ diverse international population as well as student’ talents and interests. Participation is open to all registered student organizations with each organization presenting the cuisine and culture of a specific country or region.
To spark friendly competition and organization pride, a panel of esteemed UTEP community judges pass among the booths, sampling the offerings. Organizations receive scores for cultural information, theme and decoration, taste of food and hospitality. There is a cash prize awarded to the top three booths plus the booth voted Fan Favorite by Fair attendees.
