Passport Agency
Our US passport acceptance facility is open to the public.
The passport agency’s hours of operation are 9am – 1pm and 2pm – 4:45pm, Monday through Friday. You may make a same-day appointment by calling (915) 747-5664 on the day you wish to apply, or you are welcome to come on a “walk-in” basis.
Requirements
- Completed passport application. The application must be completed before attending your schedule time. Copies are available in our office or downloadable.
- Original proof of citizenship (birth certificate or naturalization certificate)
- Valid state ID (driver license, ID card, U.S. passport)
- Two separate application fee payments: One payable to UTEP, one payable to Department of State. We can only accept checks or money orders. See below for the fee schedule.
- Two 2”x2” passport photos: You may bring the photos with you, or we can take them for you for a $10 fee (payable by check or money order to UTEP).

Passport Book: May be used for all international travel.

Expedited service is an additional $60 per application, payable to Department of State.
