International Representatives Program (iRep)

 

What is iRep?

The International Representatives Program (iRep) at UTEP connects a diverse team of international students with various local groups and organizations. iRep offers a unique learning experience and facilitates understanding the world through event programming and presentations on international and cultural topics.

Why join the iRep Student Organization?

As an iRep Member you will have the opportunity to further develop your leadership skills in public speaking, event programming, while sharing your culture with others.

* Give cultural presentations about their home country to UTEP classes, K-12 schools, and El Paso organizations.

* Plan events for international students at UTEP

* Volunteer and participate in UTEP and El Paso events and programs

*Get involved; make new friends, and HAVE FUN!

The International Representative Program (iRep) supports and encourages respect for political, religious, ethnic, racial, physical, generational, sexual and intellectual differences because such respect promotes free and open inquiry, independent thought, and mutual understanding.

 iRep Meetings for Spring 2012:

International Representatives are going to meet every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 3:00pm.

When:  Wednesday, April 11 – 3:00 – 4:30pm 
            Wednesday, April 25 – 3:00 – 4:30pm – speaker Donna Ekal “Time Management”
            Wednesday, May 9 – 3:00 – 4:30pm

Where: UTEP Education Building room 110
