It is The University of Texas at El Paso’s largest pep rally and back to school celebration and voted, “Best Annual Event” by El Paso Magazine in 2009.  The event continues to grow and we want you to be a part of it; on Friday, August 31, 2012, we anticipate 30,000 people at MINERPALOOZA for school spirit, food, live music, and games from 6 p.m. to midnight.

MINERPALOOZA boasts a pep rally featuring the 2011 NCA National Champion UTEP Cheerleaders, Coach Price and UTEP’s Football team, the UTEP Marching Miners, Golddiggers and a welcome from our President, Dr. Diana Natalicio.  El Paso’s local media personalities serve as guest hosts as the festivities are broadcast live.
