Fall 2017-Spring 2018 returner applications are now available on the Resident Portal. We are excited to announce that the re-application process is now completely on-line and with that, you will now be able to know your room assignment for the next academic year before the end of the semester.
Because we made some changes to the application process, I will be hosting Q&A sessions at Miner Village, Miner Heights, and Miner Canyon within the next few weeks. I will send out those dates before the end of the week so keep an eye out for that.
Applications are now open, so you are welcome to start submitting your applications TODAY!

Fall 2017 & Spring 2018 RENEWAL INFORMATION
If you wish to continue living with us for the next academic year, you must complete a 2017-2018 Returner Online Application via the Resident Portal. The time and date you choose to complete the application is not important, but do keep in mind that applications we receive through March 13, 2017 will have priority. Room assignments for returners will be done automatically on March 14th, any application received after that date will be placed in “first come, first serve,” order with new resident applications.
When submitting your returner application you have the option of choosing your same room or switching to a different room style or a different complex. You also have the option of choosing your roommate for the next academic year. Please make sure that your chosen roommate chooses you as well.
SUMMER 2017 RENEWAL INFORMATION
If you are requesting to continue living with us during the summer months or wish to come back for Summer school sessions, you must complete a Summer 2017 Application. Before you apply, remember that you may reside in on-campus housing during the Summer if you are taking classes in the summer or have plans to attend UTEP in the Fall 2017 semester. Residents with a Fall 2017- Spring 2018 Returner application will be given priority on room changes/re-assignments.
All students wanting to stay on campus past May 15, 2017 must submit a Summer Application. Summer contracts may be start and end at any point throughout the summer.
What if I am not sure about my plans for the 2017-2018 Academic Year or the Summer?
If there is a slight chance that you will come back next year, we suggest you submit your application and reserve your room. You have until August 1st 2017 to cancel your application without any cancellation fees. After August 1st students that cancel their applications will forfeit their deposit.
