The Resident Assistants work to create a friendly and fun living and learning environment. They also plan and create diversity, social and educational programs for residents. The purpose of these programs is to educate, inform, entertain, involve and enrich the lives of students who call Residence Life communities home to help them gain interpersonal, academic and social competencies outside the classroom.

We start out every school year with Welcome Week activities, which provide a great environment for residents and roommates to get to know each other and socialize. Every Tuesday night of finals week, meet up with other residents and enjoy a Midnight Breakfast. To celebrate the academic success of our residents, we host an Academic Excellence Gala (formerly the Honors Reception) every February for those residents holding a 3.0 or greater cumulative GPA. Residents have the opportunity to participate in hall governance with the Residence Hall Association (RHA).
