Mini Series Seminars
Our 6 to 8 week mini-series seminars provide more in-depth training in different life skills. The mini-series seminars bring together a small group of students with trained clinical counselors with the goal of helping students develop the skills and confidence to improve relationships, create healthy lifestyles, and achieve personal and professional goals.
Mindfulness-Based Self Care
Mindfulness practices are powerful techniques for coping with physical, emotional and psychological stress. Participants will learn to bring attention to breath, bodily sensations, thoughts and feelings through various mindfulness techniques.
English Mindfulness (6 weeks): Wed. Sept 13 throngh Wed. Oct. 18 3:00-4:30p.m.
Spanish Mindfulness (6 weeks): Thr. Sept 14 through Thr. Oct. 19 3:00-4:30p.m.
Understanding Myself and My Emotions: Women’s Seminar
This 8 week seminar teaches participants skills for improving their ability to manage emotions, tolerate distressing emotions and situations, and establish healthy relationships.

The Power of Being Kind to Yourself: Self-Compassion Women’s Seminar
In this 6 week seminar, participants will learn various strategies to help improve the way they think and feel about themselves while also learning healthy ways to take care of themselves.

Self Esteem: Accepting Myself
Participants will work on changing the way they think and feel about themselves. In this 6 week seminar, participants will learn various strategies to help improve their self-esteem.

Developing Campus Social Skills
In this 8 week seminar, participants will learn and practice new methods of dealing with situations that might lead to anxiety. In a safe group environment participants are encouraged to overcome anxiety and change the way they think and feel about social situations.
