Highlights

    • In 2016, fall enrollment increased for the 18th straight year, reaching an all-time enrollment high of 23,922.

Our Employer Guidelines require that employers create a profile in our online job-board called Job Mine, and acknowledge our Recruitment Policy prior to posting jobs or other recruitment activity at UTEP. Job listings are free of charge, and are viewed by UTEP students and graduates.

  • Click on the Employer Login button on the right side of this page.
  • Click on “New Users: Click Here” or “Click here to register” below the Login button.
  • Find your Organization Name, or click “Can’t Find Your Organization?” if it is not already listed.
  • Complete your Contact Information and click Register.

  • Log in to Job Mine by clicking the Employer Login button on the right side of this page.
  • From the Home Page, hover your cursor over Jobs > Post a job.
  • Fill out all of the required fields for the job posting.
  • At the bottom of the job posting, please read our Nondiscrimination Policy Statement, select “I agree” at the bottom, and click “Save”.

  • Log in to Job Mine by clicking the Employer Login button on the right side of this page.
  • From the home page, hover your mouse over “Jobs” and click on “My Jobs”.
  • Click on the Job ID number for the job you would like to copy.
  • On the top left side of the page under the menu “Page Functions, there will be an option to “Copy Job”.
  • Once you have selected “Copy Job, the new job will load. On the right side of each section, there will be a blue “Edit” link where you may change any details to the posting.
  • After you’ve made your adjustments, click on the “Save” button.

  • Log in to Job Mine by clicking the Employer Login button on the right side of this page.
  • From the Home Page, hover your cursor over “Jobs” and click on “My Jobs”.
  • When the list of your jobs loads, click “Close Job” on the far right column next to your active job. The position will immediately inactivate and will be un-viewable to students.
  • Log in to Job Mine by clicking the Employer Login button on the right side of this page.
  • From the Home Page, hover your cursor over “Jobs” and click on “My Jobs”.
  • Click on the Job ID number for which you would like to view applicants.
  • When the job opens, click on “View Activity” to the top left side menu under “Page Functions”.
  • When the web page loads, you will see a list of students who have applied to your position. To view their résumé, or other documents, click on the PDF icon under the column “Submitted Documents”.
  • To save or print all résumés, click “Select All” on the bottom of the page.
  • Once all applicants are selected, click “Create Packet” at the bottom of the page.
  • Log in to Job Mine by clicking the Employer Login button on the right side of this page.
  • From the Home Page, hover your cursor over “Jobs” and click on “My Jobs”.
  • Click on the Job ID number for which you would like to view applicants.

Employers who wish to conduct employment interviews with students on the University campus must register with The University Career Center and abide by the regulations governing the conduct of such interviews.
